Supporting Other Charities Too

Delroy was poised to run in the London Marathon for the charity Grief Encounter. With COVID-19 cancelling teh marathon Delroy decided to complete it anyway ….. at the front of his house on a treadmill

He completed it in 4 hours 45 mins and raised a considerable amount of money for this amazing charity.
Here is what Delroy had to say ….

“I’d like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to come out and support me (keeping to social distancing!) and to everyone who has so kindly and generously donated. Your support and generosity really did push me to keep going and complete the marathon in 4hrs 45. I’m so proud to be raising money for the amazing children’s bereavement charity Grief Encounter. 

Usually Monday is my “Do Good, Feel Good” day, however, it’s more “Do Good, Not Feel Good” day after the marathon but I’ll keep on with my training and let’s hope the London marathon goes ahead in October – and even more money can be raised for Grief Encounter and all the other amazing charities that are expected to lose over £4billion during this pandemic. They all need our support more than ever at this time”
